Parts were cheesy and gross, but almost early 2000s
I don’t believe they thought they made a masterpiece, more like just a fun action comedy. If you don’t judge as a critic and as a general viewing experience, I feel that it was decidedly above average in this day and age.
Some parts are a bit formulaic
I found it an easy watch and enjoyed the performances of the actors involved. I understand some people’s disappointment with this movie.
I definitely think it’s not meant to be art (film) but just film (entertainment)
